Teaching Artist

As a teaching artist, Joshua has worked inside California’s state prisons, reentry facilities, and in juvenile detention camps for incarcerated children as well as in K-12 classrooms across Los Angeles County, including continuation high schools sharing with participants the educational, transformative, and healing power of theatre arts.

Fundraiser

Joshua works to secure public and private funding for nonprofits seeking to elevate their vision and mission through general operating, capacity-building, and program support. He has served as a grants panelist for the Los Angeles Department of Arts and Culture and the UCROSS Foundation.

A Voice for the Arts

Joshua has been recognized by Assemblymember Mike A. Gipson and the California Assembly Legislature for his contribution in providing arts and arts education to constituents of the 64th District. He served on the Leadership Council for Emerging Arts Leaders of Los Angeles and was a member of the 2021 ACTIVATE Arts Advocacy Leadership Program through Arts for LA.
